Perfect for your 1x9, 1x10 and 1x11 drivetrain, the narrow wide chainrings are nearly universal for any MTB application. The long wearing 7075 aluminum is durable and impact resistance, reducing the chance of bent or broken teeth.

The Patent
Narrow-Wide chainring's concept is based on an US patent back in 1979 and originally intended for agriculture use. Many companies use it on MTB due to its great chain retention function. In order to stand out from the market, UFOR develops the unique design on the surface contour and has the design patent.



Making it simpler, lighter and quieter!!
If you want to cut down on weight, complexity, cost and noise, it makes sense to run a naked chainring without a guide. If you currently use a single front ring on a trail bike, I'd recommend replacing it with a narrow-wide chainring. It is simpler, lighter and quieter.

If you're running two or three chainrings, I'd suggest limiting the gears you use on a ride as an experiment to see if you really need the broader range. Cassette ranges have grown since bikes were first sold with three chainrings, and you might find yourself surprised by how few gears you really need.

Note:
1.With any of these narrow/wide chainrings, you'll need to monitor chain stretch closely to prevent the chain from dropping.

2.To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, these chainrings have been designed with mud-clearing recesses for the inner chain links and rollers. However, narrow-wide chainrings do not work well in heavy mud if you plan to ride in very muddy conditions, we recommend a chain guide or chain keeper and clutch-type rear derailleur!! Without these precautions, you may experience chain drops and/or chain suck.
